XMPEG is a open source converter built on MPEG1/MPEG2/AC3 high quality decoders. It exports video and audio frames through an Adobe Premiere compatible interface. The video editing funtionalities use the best algorythms to preserve the maximum quality (HQ Bicubic 0, 0.75). In addition, it supports with AVIWriter the latest encoding format like H264 and AAC, DivX 6.

The plugins furnished in this package allow you to create your own DivX, MPEG4 part 10 (H264), DVD, SVCD with the maximum output quality.
